'In the Wake' Limited Pre-Release
|
|
|
Hello Everyone,
So the moment has arrived - yesterday I went to collect an initial 200 copies of my debut album 'In the Wake'
To celebrate their arrival I've decided to put a limited number of them up online for you to purchase before the official physical release in a few months.
Simply go to this site and get your copy before everyone else:
As this is the first batch I'll also sign them (if you want!)

You can see more pictures of the CD here -
All the best

Reviews etc...
|
|
So I thought I'd finally post some reviews we've got for the EP so far....
1) http://www.forfolkssake.com/articles/343
2) Buzz Magazine, Cardiff (June 09 - Three Stars) "Two Welsh singer/songwriters move to London and write an American country EP. Yeehaw! Joking aside, underrated vocalist Sarah Howells (ex-Halflight) has an amazing voice and Al Lewis can write radio-friendly melodies in his sleep. It's promising stuff..."
3) Maverick Magazine (July 09 - Three Stars) http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307/allewismusic/clip_image002.jpg ".....Gentle harmonies which recall the hey-day of Simon & Garfunkel and Bread; lush acoustic based musical arrangements and literate songwriting all adds up to a must hear CD..."
4) Rock and Reel Magazine (July 09) http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307/allewismusic/r2review.jpg .....short 'n' sweet

Video of Performance at Electroacoustic Club

So, I've decided to start a blog: This will hopefully be a regular thing, but with me, you never know, I'm going to try really hard.. I thought I'd start with a nice little video, it's taken from mine and Sarah's gig last week supporting the Rosie Taylor Project. The track is 'Skin & Bones' from our debut EP of the same name released next week (15th June '09)...enjoy
